So maybe you have decided to re-enter the workforce after taking time off to
raise your children...or perhaps you are just looking for a new opportunity. There are many reasons why you may be back
in the job marketplace. Here's a piece of advice for the serious job hunter: treat your job search like a
job! Create a plan of action and give yourself tasks to accomplish every day.
So why am I qualified
to give you job searching advice? Here's what I do all day: look at resumes! Lots and lots of resumes!
I run a recruiting research business, and I am the first stop for resumes on their journey to the hiring manager's desk.
I have also done full-lifecycle recruiting, so I have seen the "behind the scenes" workings of the hiring process.
And let me tell you, a good resume will make all the difference to you getting that next job...whether you are in college
about to graduate or experienced and looking to make a career change, there are resources here for you. I will walk you through
the steps to a successful job hunt.
Disclaimer: Of course, there is no way I can guarantee you a job. How you apply
the knowledge I provide is entirely up to you!
